![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am ready to get a body kit, but dont want the front underbody spoiler (lip), cuz I know I would destroy and I am probably gonna get an Acura nose mask. I've been getting alot of chips lately
. The mask won't fit with the front piece installed, plus the Acura lip does'nt look that great to me. Anyway I could get the WW side and back pieces, cuz they will also fit a 2002 TL and have it painted or just get the factory Acura pieces that come already painted. I dont know which kit I like better.
Any suggestions, comments would help. Thanks in advance.

I've been driving my Accord on a 1.5" drop with a Wings West full kit for 2 years now, and the front lip is still on there. I even drive during the winter like this in the snow. Several times taking as much as 6 people fully loaded without scratching anything on the ground. As long as you get the WW kit made using polyurethane, you should not have any problems. My clearance in the center front is about 6", side edge is only 3". Unless you drive like a mad man and go flying over bumps and driveways, polyurethane will hold and endure bending and hitting. I nailed my kit on curbs several times and they are still fine. I learned to live with paint chips, just part of daily wear and tear that you can't avoid.

If you still want to keep the protection from the mask you should look into the 3M clear nose masks. Basically it is a vinyl film that is applied over the same area that the mask covers except it is clear and applied like window tint. I saw this stuff at the LA autoshow and became a believer.

and trust me, without some sort of kits protecting the fogs, it's going to die very soon. it's just so low, the glass is sooo NOT strong, and rocks can break it so easily.
considering the fact that the fog light lens are on backorder so badly nationwide for our cars, you can't afford to break one (unless you pay over 200 bucks for the whole fog light set).

Some after market kits look very cool. However, OEM kit is the best way to go. It adds more value to your car. Also, You don't need to remove it if you decide to trade in your car later.

i like the Blaze kit...i hear it costs about a thousand, but it's gonna be with your car for awhile, and really up to your budget, if i had money i would go for this... take a look, hope the picture comes up.
