So far, i cant really find any wheels i would like for my TLS except for the 5 spoke. I have been thinking that 5 spokes might look too similar to the stock, but i like that style of wheel. Just my opinion. When it comes to wheels, ive found that everyone likes something different. but anyways, if u can recommend a wheel that might look nice, id love to hear about it.

My vote is for the second one if I had those two to choose from.
I'm just not a big fan of the rivet look.

I like the 2nd wheel better. I think that the 5 spokes still keep the car elegant/classy. It's our wheels on steroids

Ya go for that 2nd wheel, it looks real nice. Adds the "I care about my car" and "It isn't your average Type-S" touch . I noticed that for some reason 5 spokes are what looks best on the TLS. Don't know why.

Second wheels look good, of the 2.

Who makes those? I'd like to see if they come in 18s

I'm also a fan of the 'stock-look' wheels...and not one of the rivet design. 2nd one gets my vote!

Im not sure who makes the second pair of rims. I found them on www.tirerack.com. Just look through the different rims they offer for the TL-S. U should see them there. I actually like the first pair; dont know why, they just seem nicer, IMO. Thanks for the comments guys, i really enjoy hearing the opinions of other (that may sound weird).

P.S. anyone here listen to Paul Van Dyke?

This is the AT Italia S5. You can get them in either 17X7.5 ($209 each)or 18X7.5 ($249 each). Those are what I want!

P.S. anyone here listen to Paul Van Dyke?
Yeah .... first heard him 12 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Prefer his early stuff though, when he put out most of his brooding, melancholy tracks. saw him here in Chicago about 2 months ago and the show was amazing. given the choice though, I'd prefer the smaller intimate venues that he used to do before he acheived superstar DJ status.

Yeah I have heard him, he's pretty good...i downloaded this 25 minute mix by him the other day. About the rims, I like the 2nd ones a lot, but imo they are somewhat similar to the stock type s rims...so if you want a more distinct look, maybe go with the 1st ones.

I'd say go with 18s...they'll look better than 17s and the cost isnt that much more either.

Unhappy

IMO, evolaerok u should go with the 18's. THe price difference is not that great, and the TLS looks bad a$$ with 18 inch rims. At first, i was going to buy the first set of rims, but after looking at CLosers car, i think the second set will look much better. I will probably wait until next summer to purchase them, mainly because i dont want to be driving with 18 in rims in colorado snow storms. I appreciate all the opinions and comments every one submitted. Thanks for your advise.

have an excellent day!
