what do the letters stand for....
what do the letters stand for....
Ok I have been on here since Jan 04', this is my first Honda/Acura....since looking throuhg these treads I have noticed when people desribe their cars for example 00 ACURA TL NBP(THIS IS PROBABLY NOT EVEN ANYTHING) My question is....what determines if the car is an NBP or any of the other letter combos that people are using to define their cars? Does it say somewhere on my car whether my car is an NBP or a PBNJ(joke)? I would like to know just so I can add it on my signature....LOL

In truth, the previous generations of TL (before 2004) always include the engine size too. So if you wanna really add stuff in, you can say 2003 Acura 3.2TL Type S NBP ... yeah!

The 2004 TL is only known as the "TL".
