I just got a brand new system, an Alpine 9853 headunit with the ipod adapter, an Ascendant Audio 15" sub in ported box, and a hifonics bx1205d amp that will give me 1200 watts. I am going to have it all installed sometime next week when I get the chance. So my question is to those who have a sub, what did yall do with the factory sub? Should i just leave it alone? Thanx alot.

 

just leave it where its at it wont hurt it, but if you want you can simply remove it

 

leave it alone, the factory sub only works with the factory headunit, i got my complete system done, but i still have my factory sub in there, just chillen
