what a day.. (56k GET OUT)

So, two days ago I parked over at my cousin's pad so he could take me somewhere. I decided to park at a shaded area so I parked under a tree. Little did I know that it was gonna give way.. When I came back.. I couldn't believe what I saw. Good thing it only got my hood/windshield. If I parked a few feet up, the bigger and heaviest branch would've crushed the middle of the car totally. I consider myself lucky. There wasn't much damage done. Mainly scratches and small dents. City Hall is supposedly responsible for any damages. Waiting on them. Hopefully I can get a new hood..

Anyways.. I'm glad I had a camera with me at the time. Prior to the photos.. I removed other smaller branches off the hood and windshield cause I wanted to see if there was any major damage done. So, the picture will look like the branches didn't even touch my car but they did. Branches were stuck to the bottom grill near the radiator and under the front bumper as well.

PICTURES PENDING.

That'll buff right out...

Seriously though, looks like most of that will buff out. Worse case is you need touch up paint, wetsand, and buff.

What a lucky guy. Coulda been so much worse. If you're good with a polisher, you can buff those right out. Better than having to replace a hood. *cough..pocket the extra money..cough*

well, im not a tree expert and my eyes are calibrated for that lol

but one time the same thing happened to a buddy with the exact same tree and same looking branch size. both of us were able to move it ourselves so it mustn't have been that heavy.
