Lightbulb What color for rear blinker?

Hi, I have a 2003 Acura TL-Type S and had changed my rear blinkers from the original amber to an ultra white. I have been driving with those blinkers for 6 months and had not yet got in trouble for them, however that color is ILLEGAL in California and I was thinking I want to change it to red. What's your comment? Red, Yellow, or Amber (stock)?

Thanks.

If you put in Red bulbs, it won't be red, it will be pinkish. I have red polargs bulbs in and they are still pinkish/red (I don't mind tho). Just don't expect it to match your parking/brake light which is behind a red lens. Yellow (clear bulbs) are also illegal in Cal. You need Amber/Red for rear turn sigs.

If you try Red LEDs turn sigs, it matches the brakelights (true red color) but it gives hot spots and during the day, your turn sigs will look like a red dot.

I will most likely go for the Red Polargs then. Thanks you. Cause hot spots are not good for the plastic cover, and red/pinkish should be just fine.

Yeah... its not as red as the stop light. But this once I saw red blinkers on a Mercedes and they were just as red as the stop light... I wonder if they were LEDs.
