its on the TL Type-S page under picture gallery, so i think its ABP, but it doesnt look like it. i like the color a lot. does anybody have any idea what color this is?

 

It's ABP as you said.

 

uh, correction! that color is the Eternal Blue, not the Aegean Blue Pearl! It's only avail. in Canada. (They don't get the ABP up there!) I know this to be true, b/c I made the same mistake before the TL-S came out!

 

Nope thats Aegean Blue, no doubt about it. Those are the pics Acura first released and my car looks just like that in similar lighting conditions

uh, my bad?? I guess I've never seen the ABP in cloudy days, or dark evenings, b/c that looks DARK! It looka alot like the Eternal blue pearl I've seen on the New RSX Type S. If Mr Hyde says it's ABP, then it's ABP!

 

As a fellow ABP owner--yep, that's what she looks like on cloudy days or in my garage. That's the cool part about ABP--depending on lighting and angle it can look royal blue, navy blue, midnight blue or even violet.

Damn, I want my next car to be Dupont's Chromollusion.

As for the Eternal Blue, it is available in the U.S., but only on the Premium version, not on the S. As you said, the Eternal Blue on the S is a Canadian thing......

 

It looks a lot like Eternal Blue Pearl from Canada.

If someone can see the interior then that would be a giveaway because the EBP only comes in the TLS in Canada with Parchment Interior.

If that's ABP then what colour is the one on the top right of this web site? It looks much lighter.

 

My car (ABP) looks like two totally different cars depending on the lighting. When it's bright out, it's a lighter blue, when it's darker out, it's dark. I was behind an Eternal Blue TL-P at a light when it was cloudy out, and our cars were very, very close in color.....
