what body kit is this?

if so, where can i get more information on it? and where to buy it.. This is for 02-03 TLs.. cause it comes with the fog lights... I tried ebaymotors under "TL body kit" and shows the ones without the fog lights..

That body kit is sick!!! It makes that TL look like a true sports car. If thats 1350.00 it's a damn steal. If it's 1350.00 painted its highway robbery. It may be ugly to you nsxnext but I agree thread poster, its nice. I've seen similar body kits for TL's(not as flashy) go for almost 2000.00 painted go get it man!

PS are you sure it's only for 02-03 TLS, cause thats a shame I would love that trim around my car.

"Look" is about as close as a TL will get to being a sports car.

im probably might get the rear bumper and side skirts.. The front looks a bit too ricey for a luxury car.. but the rear makes the TL more agressive. Plus it would make my TL different from hundreds of TLs out there with the same body kits... OEM or wing west... trying a different look... but not overdueing it... thats why im probably will just get the rear bumper..not the front...

NOw another question... If i decide to get the rear bumper, this is a complete bumper change meaning they will take my stock bumper off. Now what should i do with my stock bumper,

Sell it?

Store it?

i dont know if i can store a bumper in my garage no room... plus a big bumper in my garage.. I wont have room to put my car.. theres enought s%^t in there...

selling it dont know if someone would buy my stock bumper.. plus it has marks on it and a litlle dent not big though...

i dont know what you'all say.......

yea this body kit is for 02-03 .. basically because of it having the fog lights. 99-01 models dont have fog lights on them.. but they do have the same kit for 99-01. a little different. Its on that website NSXNEXT posted above..

one of the members here was going to have a car (99-00) brought in so that they could make a prototype front end for the 99-00. not sure if that happened but it wouldnt hurt checking with sarona to see if it happened

i say keep it... that sarona bumper is made of fiberglass and i bet its as cheap as it is ugly looking. in otherwords, keep it so that when it cracks, you can put the stock one back on.

dont let these guys discourage you. I LOVE THE SARONA kits!
i have the same game plan as you. get the rear and sides, but then i was going to do a custom mould for my front bumper like this one!

Good Luck

with everyone else that says that the kit is not for our cars. Our cars are luxury sport cars, not some cheap ricer. If you really want to have a kit like that on your car, go get a civic.

it's different and somewhat cool, but i have to agree with the majority here. every civic in my county basically has the same thing on their car. which really pisses me off because it's not really cool when every single car has it and no one is unique. so it's not for me. but if you like it then by all means, it is *your* car.

and i would also like to disagree with keeena (not flaming, just offering my opinion). our cars may not be marketed as "sports" cars, but i personally think we are not that far off. i forget what the term is exactly, but i know they keep calling it a "performance luxury sedan" right? or something very similiar for their marketing ploy. but considering what the car is capable of in comparison to a new mustang or grand prix "sports car", then i think we can fit into the category if you take it with a grain of salt.

true, the TL will never be a "sports car" per se, but i would say we are alot closer than just looks. besides, when you have a few s/c TLs running around, i'm sure they give other "sports cars" a run for their money

seriously, how come no one rags on anyone else here for putting "fartcans" on their TL? that's total ricer yet i don't see anyone going off on people in the thread that's on the first page. i think some of you guys should be choosing your positions differently, or at least more consistently. not that i'm trying to make enemies here, i don't care what anyone really does to their car because in the end it's not my choice and it's their money, but it just doesn't come off right to bash one and not the other when it's all "rice".

ya see, that's what i like to hear. i've been on some boards where disagreeing is almost a surefire way to end up getting banned. it truly ruins the knowledge-sharing experience.

just out of curiosity though, where would you put the TL in terms of car class?

well, when you think about it, noone here has put fartcans on their tl. exhaust, yes. exhaust that's made for the car. i guess some ppl consider fartcans mufflers larger than stock, but i think they are HUGE weld-on mufflers that are usually off brand and sound like lawn mowers.
what is funny is that while a performance exhaust does give somewhat of a gain in power, people tend to mistake these big ass body kits for the "performance". i just don't understand why anyone would want to do this to any car. do you see fast cars with these kinds of mods? damn.

We agree here. Just one of the negative aspect of forums. Larger sites like this tend to attract people who dont use them well (ie. SAME question every day instead of a simple 5 minutes of searching). Oh well. The good information makes it well worth it...just a little more difficult to dig thru the extra junk.

Performance (oriented..?) sedan. I'd consider similar cars like the new Maxima, G35, etc... to be in the same class. Not quite a true "Sports Car/Sedan" (I think M3/M5 to be real sport sedans...those MOVE and handle like a dream) and not quite luxury. I do like my TL a lot...good blend of a lot of things...just want a 6-speed swap. But thats my $.02.
