What are the best mods for under $2,000?

I have reached the 2 year itch and instead of pissing money on a new car, I was thinking of making some mods to my 2003 TL-S Aegean Blue Pearl. What suggestions would you all have on this project? I was thinking a new cat back exhaust, CAI, and perhaps new rims/tires or loweing the car slightly. I have never done any of this before, so its all Greek to me.

Thanks

If you want to have alot more fun out of the car I highly recomend you take a look at the icebox, a set of headers and possibly a crank pulley. With those three mods you will have a new car!!!

Really depends on what you mean by "itch". If you wanna have a "new different car to drive for yourself," get the performance mods - headers, CAI, pulleys, suspension, etc. If you wanna have a "new different car to impress the friends/chicks," get the body kit, suspension, tints, rims, etc. All depends on what this "itch" is. Either way, post pics!

Icebox $250 DIY installation + $50 for K&N cone filter
H&R OE Springs (Subtle lowering) $300 installed
UR Pulley $350 installed
Megan Headers $275 installed
Tint $200
Comptech Rear Sway Bar $350 installed
Black Chrome Acura License Plate Frames (x2) $25
M5 lip spoiler (painted) $100 (self installed)

This leaves you with $100.00 to spare.
P.S. Dont change the exhaust as the stock type s exhaust is pretty good already.

From here, all you need to do is add some 18's in the future and you are set.

The Unorthodox Racing crank pulley is lightened and underdrives the system and thus is able to create more hp, about 13 hp and 9 ft/lbs of tq for the CL-S. You will be able to rev a little quicker also.

The Comptech Icebox intake sucks in more air and thus creates more hp, about 8 whp.

The headers, whether you choose Alpha Werks, Comptech, or Megan, flow more air more freely and also create more hp, about 25-30 whp.

If you are interested in the UR pulleys or Alpha Werks headers see the links in my signature.

Agree with nadawood, Comptech headers, icbox, and UR crank pulleye are the three best. After that then tints, springs, and sways

I've got an '02 w/ the icebox intake on it. I've been wondering 1)how much power is my car actually making w/ the icebox 2) should I switch to the K&n cone filter over the one that comes w/ the icebox, and 2) if I also do headers and full exhaust - how much power will I be seeing.......or should I just save my $$$.

Are you looking to spend $2k for all of your mods, or just looking to buy the single best mod for $2k?
