that's the VTEC controller. it kicks in at about 4500 RPM, if you have that, you can set it yourself, it works really well if you have many engine mods.

Tanner posted this a few weeks back:

[i]Thanks guys!!
It's a Apex-i V-AFC(Vtec-AirFlowConverter)
It let's you control the air flow at any RPM, to take advantage of all of your mods(smoother power curve).

It let's you control when your Vtec engages, so say I was racing another TL, My Vtec would engage at 3800rpm while the other TL engages at 4300rpm

It also meters(3 different - analog, digital and graph) the air pressure, throttle(%), rpm and Vtec.

It is a very good mod if you have and want to take advantage of your mods, it won't do much if your car is stock.

As for installation,
Just install the display where you want it and run the wires to the ECU(there is full instructions but we had to call them(Apex-i) 3-times because the instructions are old and even the website's updates aren't updated.

For people with a good amount of engine mods, I do recomend this product, as for the settings, you could ask around for others but I recommend that you Dyno test it because every car is different.

PS. It(LCD display) looks so sweet at night time ! !
