Question What are the 2003 Changes

OK, I think we all know On-Star will be new.

The Acura web site is not yet fully updated, has partial 2003 data?

Will the "wheels" be the same?

One section states "headlights Auto On/Off" - - while another states "Auto Off" I don't think our 2002 has either?

And of course it would be nice if they would beef up the radio a lot, and add full power seat to the passenger!

As anyone seen the 2003 in the flesh to confirm?

Only item I could determine is 4 channel ABS. I believe 02 is 3 channel. BTW 02 headlights do auto off. They go off several seconds after you lock the car and come back on when use unlock with the remote.

US TLS already has 4-channel ABS.... Antharacite color available on Type S, and On Star are the only 2 difference so far....

I wish they would offer a DVD-Audio player as an option. Multichannel tunes in the car would be awesome!!

Someday soon, I hope.....

The '02s TL-Ss are not a true 4-channel system. Under *normal* operation, they operate as a 3-channel system. That means left front, right front and both rears operate indepedantly of each other. Only when VSA is engaged to correct oversteer will the rear channel separate and operate on the wheel that needs the correction added. So it is 4-channel only in those instances when your driving invokes the VSA.

I also saw the 4-channel ABS listed on the web site. They may have changed it for 2003, but I suspect it is just wishful thinking and clever marketing instead. Technically they're not lying.
