Went to the track last night...
My buddy and I went to Pacific Raceways last night to get some runs in for the first time. The temperature was about 74 degrees with relatively low humidity. I got four runs in, here's my best:
R/T: .906
60': 2.261
1/4: 15.079
MPH: 92.63
All in all, I'm pretty happy with that considering I'm stock and I can't launch worth ****. We had a great time though and I can't wait to throw some mods on and get back out there. Peace.

Out of curiosity, I would like to know what people with current mods think realistically improved their track times. I'm bone stock and about to throw in a CAI.
I would think an exhaust wouldn't help that much given how efficient the stock exhaust system is. My guess would be Headers, Cold Air Intake, and wider tires would help. I'm not sure what gains high end spark plugs would give you. Realizing NOS, Superchargers can be ignored. Cripes, I don't even know if Comptech has made a supercharger yet. I guess one could have a custom turbo. Anyways, let's limit this to items currently available and not at a huge cost.
Anything else significantly help off the line? I am starting to realize that just because something gives you more HP doesn't necessarily mean it will help you in the 1/4 mile. Simply because some of that HP doesn't even kick in until late. Maybe I have no idea what I am talking about. If so, correct me.
Also, I realize that adding up all of the advertised HP gains in each mod isn't realistic. Most times the combination of mods doesn't add up to as much as one would think.

Do tires thats forsure, run VSA off, and shift with the gate, not SS as you only use it about once in the 1/4.
I have comptech headers, exhaust (looks and sound mostly) and the OEM fit high flow filter, mid 14s, to low 14s when cold!
