went in for recall?

has anyone here gone in for thier tl tranny recall? I was just wondering if any bay area acura dealers are working on this yet?

also does anyone know if this recall will also provide a loaner?
and how do you guys get a acura loaner, i always get a enterprise loaner and it sucks. I hear you some guys getting tsx new tl rsx loaners, i have never gotten a acura loaner. I would like to be able to test the tsx,or even the new tl if anyone can tell me any dealers that usually give acura loaners please feel free to post some. t

thanks. i have beent o stevens and los gatos.

I haven't gone in yet. I'll make an appt. after I receive the recall letter.

Loaners are subject to your dealer. I was given an RSX the 2 times I needed service.

Loaners are dependent on the dealer (as to qty on hand, whether they're provided thru 3rd party such as enterprise) Though I bouht my car at Vandergriff, their level of service and accommodations does not measure up to Goodson at all, so al ymservice business has gone to Goodson, where they are open later for service, take cars in on the weekend for warranty work, and always, always have new, fresh, clean Acura loaners. When I found out that secret, there was no turning back, even after Vandergriff built a nice new big dealership. My car goes in Wednesday for the trany recall fix, and as I arranged the visit over the phone, the service advidor reminded me that he's arrange a car for me. I'll ask for a new TL, but their loaner fleet consists of RSX and TSX models only, I believe. Can't say enough good about them, really.

With 90k miles, I didn't want to wait on a recall letter. OwnerLink indicated I'm part of the recall, and that was good enough for me. Since this waranty is up at 100K, I want to have as many miles on the fix or new tranny as possible. I'm scared about resale after the car reaches 100K since this expensive component (the $3,000 pars, $500 labot transmission) will no longer be covers, but may still be susceptible to damage. I'm hoping that at 90K miles, my car will rate another tranny, not just the oil jet kit. Wish me luck.

I went in for an oil change and asked about the recall last saturday. They went ahead with it, turns out my tranny was on it's way out. They didn't have any snazzy loaners for me, so I am driving and 04 chevy colorado. Talk about a step down.

Pleasanton Acura does give out Acura loaners.

I am going in for an oil change this weekend. Since I am there I might as well see if I can squeeze in the tranny recall and get my rotors replaced. Once again, they are warped. Any surprise?

I take mine in on Friday for the tranny replacement and they are giving me a rental. I'm sure it will be a focus or something little.
