Went 160 mph this weekend...

WOW...What a rush. That is the fastest I have ever been in a car. Of coarse it was in a 750 horsepower Winstin Cup car. I got to drive a stock car around Lowe's Motor Speedway with no one else in the car but me. I cannot even explain the feeling. Running about 6.3/k rpms in the back stretch and around 5/k rpms in the turns. It was like a roller coaster....The G's were incredible.
Lets just say I am lucky I did not getting a speeding ticket driving my TLS home that night. Not 160 but I ran the heck out of it on I-85.

Yeah, one of my college football teamates is on a winston pit crew and he told me had they let me get 9/k rpm in the stretch I would have hit 195mph(not safe for my skill, would have wrecked)
But it does make want to get more and more power from my car (with out buying a corvette)
If the supercharger was less money or more power I would get it. I actually had the orderform filled out one day but talked myself out of it.

I know exactly how you felt, I had the opportunity last year driving a Winston cup car at Daytona. I was able to go a bit faster than you did (around 170 at the turn, Hitting 190 at the end of the front straight) since Daytona is 2.5 mile track. The G-force is amazing, it scared the crap out of me during the first few laps.

ferrizo- I played at Va Tech..
TLs2003.... I would have loved to have driven @ Daytona. NICE. It was an awesome experience. It took a couple of laps to relax all the way though the turn.

I'm thinking of doing the Richard Petty Experience at LMS. They supposedly let you drive 160mph on the track. Sounds like fun.

Question: Shayne, where in Charlotte did you get your work done? How about the video - NAV conversion?
