weird rattle

OK i got 2 weird rattles on my TLS which only has 700 miles.

1) Sounds like coming from the speaker in the front passenger side. It makes a weird triple buzz sound zzz--zz--z. If i turn off the radio, i goes away .

2) Regular rattle sounds like it comes from door area. Hard to pinpoint.

In addition to the rattle, my brakes vibrate when i try to slow down from over 40mph.

My TLS was delivered to me with an exhaust tip missing and dirty interior. I complained to Acura in Agoura Hills CA.

These are minor annoyances but i'm really starting to think that Acura should move their assembly back to Japan. Ohio workers are sloppy.

I'm going to take it to the dealer next week.

When you heard the buzz sound, did you have your cell phone turn on? This is a known problem.

Rattle sound from the door area-maybe is the rubber seal. It is hard to say. The best is have a Acura service rep. ride with you and pinpoint the problem.

I have a rattle in on my drivers side door area as well. Ive traced mine down to a "loose window". If the window is up, you hear a constant low pitch rattle. With the window down a few inches or all the way, the rattle is gone. Also when the window is down a few inches, I can grab it and pull it up about a ½ to 3/4 inch. Something is not holding the glass in place the way it should be.. Im waiting til my first oil change to have this corrected. Be sure to post what corrective actions fixed yours.. thnx

To better test your buzzing sound, call someone from your cell phone and hold it next to the radio, it should be apperant. Now for the front windows, mine has the same problem. Roll it halfway and see if you can wiggle it at all. You'll notice both the front side doors do that, but the rear ones dont. I always drive with all my windows rolled up so it doesnt bother me too much. You'll really notice it if you have them rolled halfway and you close the door.

so yours windows rattle as well.. BOTH front windows?.. Only my drivers side window is loose, while all others are solid and rattle free.. Have you had your dealer look at it yet? I really didnt notice when my driver window started to rattle.. I was thinking the dude that tinted my windows may have caused it.. Im thinking otherwise now..

Question

I've also heard the triple buzz sound from my radio. It happens on FM or CD and sounds like three rapid clicks. It seems to come from the right side but sounds more like it's comming from the rear. It never happens with the Audio System off.

The three click thing. Is there a fix? I just discovered this yesterday. And yes, I have the cell phone on in the car.

Everytime I've heard the 3 rapid clicks from the right rear of the car I had a cell phone in the car. I am going to do some experimenting with the phone and will let you know if it changes the clicking sound. It is affected by the volume in the audio system. I asked the service mgr. and he said he never heard of the problem. Maybe Acura Reps. should read these forums.

Yesterday I placed my cell phone in the area below the radio and drove around all day. Every time the cell phone switched towers it made the three click's or buzz in the speakers. It also does it if you hold the phone up to the radio and dial a number
