Ok so on the RSX when I unlock or lock with the remote nothng happens. All the lights flash and all. Actually the passenger door does work with the remote. we used the key for the driver door.

NOW the hatch wont open we can unlock the car and I can hear the hatch click but it wont open, and there is no other way to open it either. I called up acura they said, they have never heard of this before..

 

Even if they have never heard of it before there is clearly something wrong. Take the car in, make them fix it under warranty (if it is still covered) and make them give you a loaner car until yours is fixed. I am tired of dealers taking the easy way out. Make them fix it and make sure it is right.

I dont even know where to start....

 

So basically the hatch and driver side door wont open then with the remote. And you can use the key to open the driver side door. just not the remote.

I am sure that someone on crsx has the helms. I think they even have a pdf version of it so you can at least try some tests or what not.

 

The door doesnt really bother me....The hatch is pissing me off. I have to crawl to the back to and put the seat down to get stuff out and in...... I cant access CRSX from work so I will when I get home from my hour drive....

 

If you can hear the hatch click, that's most of the battle to getting it working. At least you know the remote works.

If you take a screw driver and manually lock the latch mechanism, will the remote open it then (under no load)? If you pull the insulation back from the latch mechanism and activate it with the remote, does anything look obviously broken?

 

ok I messed around with it, and the hatch will unlock when it wants....Its hit or miss
