Over the weekend I noticed my Factory Bose HU malfunctioning and I was wondering if any of you guys ever experienced this. It seemed to be an only Saturday and Sunday thing since I have not experienced anything today. But to get to the point, I noticed that when I turned the ignition off and pulled the key out, the radio played for an excess 5-10 seconds. Ordinarily, the HU shuts off right as I turn the ignition key to the off position. I was wondering if any of you guys have experienced this? Is this normal? I wouldn't think so because I've owned the car for over a year (2000 TL-p). And also if it is a malfunction, should it warrant a dealer service. Is it covered under the extended warranty? Any response will be appreciated.
