Hey guys,

Well I recently installed the irotors on my car, and it only started after I installed them. Only when going in REVERSE does the car make this sound. If I haven't used the brakes for a while (car has sat overnight), it will make this weird clicking noise when you apply the brakes and you are going more than 5 km/h in reverse. When the windows are down, you hear it a lot more. I was wondering if you guys think this has anything to do with the brakes, or whether it's a bearing or something. Keep in mind that this noise is not there at all when I'm going forward...only in reverse...

anyone know what this could be??? I'm heading over to the dealership sometime next week, so I will get it looked at when I'm there.

I will keep you guys updated as to what it is.

Could it be the pads sliding over the slots on the rotors prior to them being broken in? Since I put mine on I've noticed clicking noises when I have the windows down and rolling about 20-30 mph. I'm sure it must sound strange when I pass a pedestrian in the neighborhood. At least yours is only in reverse. Let me know if you find out what is causing the noise.

jeff you have the most noises i have ever heard of with your brakes, why dont you jack up the front end on the car and turn the wheel backwards by hand to see where the noise is coming from
