I like the idea of having a left nav border and everything line up there, this way parts are only a click away.
I still have to get with Nat to see if our new data base will support this layout

I don't consider myself a web designer, that is why I am posting and having the contest because I am only a beginner

You need to limit the list to a drop down because its too long to scroll. More simple menus....

I made the database a little bigger and added a few more BS items. I did javascript menus but its too slow at the moment, I'll fix it tomorrow. You can see them here:
