We ran into some complications on the ECu we need to know how many points are on the crank trigger it should be like 12+1..

If anyone has an Helms manual please check it up for me..

Thanks

From the HELMS manual the Timing belt drive pulley has 12 " large dents".

That is not correct. RES is 15hp+ on the TL-p and 20hp+ on the TL-s.

I would say it was correct if we weren't on the TL-S forum.

I was just correcting wrong information.

Oh now I going to speak , it will be out, I have seen it and touched it with MY OWN HANDS. For $299 sorry you can't beat that. but keep trying, you guys are making good work.

I know for a fact that the OEM ECU for ours cars is in the area of $1k.

bye bye tranny..

Would this be covered under warrenty, or if something goes wrong i can just take the ECU out before taking the car to the dealer? Just checkin ahead of time.
Hey Leo, Like Crzy says... What about warranty issues?

Well I stand corrected Only goes to make the point even more.

I'm not trying to diss what Leo or others are doing, just saying that there has got to be some price sensitivity. Its like the freakin supercharger, let them develop it, charge that price, and then no one buy the thing. It ain't worth the $$.

I think I would go the volume route if I were selling a new product for these cars.

I happened to be on the Lexus board, can't remember why, I had trouble finding positive comments about our boy Leo. Not my opinion, I have never done buisness with them nor do I know anyone personally who has. But buyer beware. Show us video of the car on the Dyno were you can read the output. Prove the Lexus boys wrong.

I have spoken with Leo and he was great to work with. I ordered a cold airbox for my Legend and it is a good product. As much hassle as Weapon-R has gotten we at the Legend board have found many of the complaints to be unfounded. WR is one of the few manufactures that built an intake for our cars. Several members have been running these foam filters for years without problems, but all of the sudden their entire linup of products is "trash" and "rice" because they use a foam filter that can get ingested by the engine. We Legend owners are thankful for Weapon-R's support and realize that it does not make a lot of business sense to make products for a discontinued and aging car.

Actually I think the general impression of the Weapon-R ECU/intake combo has been very positive. Unfortunately something happened early on...something I've never quite understood...in which a forum member said that the Weapon-R combo was MUCH better than the established favorite for the GS, the Swift Racing Tech ECU/intake, and he was banned from the forum. Again, I don't know what happened and assume there was MUCH more to it than just what I've elaborated. Anyway, my understanding is that WR makes a heck of a product, so I'd keep my eyes peeled for what they have coming if I were you.

Do a search for it, you will find a bunch of topics on it, it is also known as the Mystery Mod. It is supposed to be an intake manifold, that is still being developed and tested.
