water spots on intake

Does anyone else have what appears to be waterspots on their intake? This isn't really a big deal but does anyone know what I could use to remove them?

I just use water to wash it off and then dry it right away. It works for me.

yes you can just hose it off, but cover the battery befor you do so

if you cant remove with hosing, spray some simple green and let it soak for a few seconds then hose off
