Warranty Ending Soon

I just recently bought a 2001 TL-P. I have about 49,000 miles on it and still have factory warranty left. The first week i had it, the transmission was shot and had to get it replaced. Now it is running fine. Before my warranty ends, what should I check for. I really want to send it in to get misc. things fixed.

Thanks

Do you have any cracks or discoloration in your leather seats, that is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. You can also claim rattling noises if there are any. Do your seats creek, if they do, they should replace your seat rails. Do the seat heat up if not, you can get new heating rods in the one that is not heating up. There are plenty of things that you can get checked/covered while you are underwarranty. All you have to do is ask and maybe complain...

My driver seat creeks, supposedly they lubricated it, but they still creek. I will bring this up tomorrow when they try to fix the notorious transmission leak for the third time.

Another thought to look for, check your rotors, I had mine replaced at about 16,000 miles, including new pads, all under warranty.

SMF-TLS....There is no lubricate other than on the gears. The creeks are caused by worn rails and or loose bolts. Those should be replaced if they creek, they will only get worse.

I did get pissed. They gave me a free oil change because of the gas I have to waste going back there to get it fixed. The nearest acura dealer is about 100 miles away.

I took the car in today with 49,950 miles. The guy said that I beat the record for bringing the car with only 50 miles of warranty left.
