So I got my transmission replaced under warranty and of course since its a rebuilt tranny one can expect a large amount of these to be bad straight from the factory; As my mechanic buddy at work told me.
Anyway the day I was having my transmission replaced I had the weirdest bumping/pulsation happen while using tiptronic shifting. I talk to my friend and tell him about it, he asks if I picked up a nail or something I said no. He says hes not quite sure what it is. Anyway I get my car back after the work is done and its driving fine. Then it happens again this morning and again tonight, however the 3rd time around I was just in d5, not tiptronic mode like I was during incident #1 and #2. Also the way I got this pulsation to stop I had to pull over, come to a dead stop, shift into park, wait a few seconds then put it back in d5 and it would go away.
I'm going to speak with my friend at work tomorrow but I was curious if anyone else had any ideas on what this could be?

Just bring it back to the dealer and show them.

thats why the unit has its own waranty-back it goes for inspection!
Stop listening to your buddy unless he works at acura as a tech

Dont mess around with friends or other mechanics. Just go back to the dealer you had it done at and have them deal with it.
