Warped rotors! cut or replace

Had the car for about 11k now, still got plenty of brake pad meat. However rotors are warped the steering wheel vibrates like hell while braking. The question is to resurface em n slap em back on or go for new slotted.

Options were: Rotora Slotted or RacingBrake which I saw on the Board but never heard of this racingbrake brand.....can't seem to find where to buy the Rotoras other than excelerate and streetbeatcustoms, rotoras website doesn't have dealers listed. Anyone in so.cal kno where to pick up a set?

Depends on your needs. If you want beter performance, get rotoras and ebc. Same setup I have, but no rear rotors. If you just want to get rid of the vibrating, resurface them. Money and performance are the questions here. Search the forums as well, might find more info on this.

Replace. turning them only makes them thiner and more prone to it

If your not looking for more performance orientated brakes get a set of brembo blanks.

If you just want stock replacements get Brembo blanks. If you want something more performance oriented get ROTORA slotted rotors.

I'm leaning towards replacement because who knows how many times the rotor has already been turned before I got the car. I'm hopin on getting Satisfied Ceramics with Rotoras, I had blanks on my accord kinda seemed to be the same as OEM....Slotted rotors can be turned right or only special machines can turn slotted rotors? Tryin to keep the brake upgrade to about $200...where should I buy em from?

I'm sure its not safe to keep driving like that puts a lotta stress on all your bushings, rack and pinion etc... all that vibrating will eventually do some damage

I had the dealer use an on-car brake lathe to resurface the rotors since I was still under warranty. So far, after 1K miles, the brakes feel good. However, soon I'll be out of warranty, and if it comes back, then time to get some aftermarket slots.

Resurface my 02 tl-p last year and after 13000 miles the car brakes fine .
Only that 2 weeks ago it vibrate a bit at high speedd braking .... but yesterday
the vibration is gone ????? How could it come and go ???? Wonder if my pads
are stuck that will explain the vibration ?

I've gone both routes in the past, but rotors are so cheap now it really doesn't make sense to turn them. If you're just looking to stop the warping don't waste your money on expensive rotors. Just get some Brembo blanks or call your local auto parts store.

OTOH - I did have the rotors on my old Altima cut and had very good long lasting results with them.
