i just need your opinions on wether i should bring my car to the dealer for my brakes...cause i get alot of shaking in my steering wheel when i brake at highspeeds...like 100ish-60ish....but then at lower speeds..even with moderatly hard braking...i dont get any shaking...does this justify as warped?

and their is soemthing aobut this that it should be fixed for free right?

oh..and my car has less then 7500 on it...so will they blame the warped rotors on my driving?

 

Sounds like warped rotors to me. I have had mine taken care of twice (in the first 20k miles) free of charge. They might say wear and tear, but just keep after them and they will end uptaking care of this problem for free as a "one-time courtesy.").

I haven't had a warped rotor problem in the 14k miles after the second fix.

njtls, those are the early symptoms of warped rotors. As you stated it only shakes when breaking at high speeds and not low speeds, it'll only get worse (give it about anywhere from 1-3 weeks) depending on how hard you drive your car and you'll start to feel the vibrations at lower speeds. This is from personal experience on my '99 TL-P. Take it in to the dealer to fix and if they say its your fault, this phrase seems to work for me....

"You think I would drive a $30k car like a $15k car?" in a stern and demanding voice. Give him the cock-eyed, mad, you think im a moron look...hehehe
