Just FYI: Those with the 3A Racing Tips, I suggest you take some type of rust repellent and spray the bolts and nuts once every so often. I just went to readjust them so they were more flush with the kit, but the nuts were all rusted. I put some WD40 on and slowly cranked them out, and all the bolts got stripped. Needless to say, I'm not putting the tips back on....I'm going to get some Comptech exhaust. Just thought you guys would like to know. Btw, how long does Tim take to ship out the Comptech exhausts? Im in NJ.

 

Great advice - and it goes for any exhaust tip. High temperature + water do not do well together...

just installed mine today.. u can check page 2 for a comparison of the stock and the 3A slanted ones... MUCH BETTER with the 3A

check home depot...they should have it...goto the paint isle

same thing hapopened to me... after i got rear ended, my exaust got bent and i had to remove the tips... the screwes were rusted, and it took god and a pair of lock cutters to get them off.
