Warning - Major Pain with BlitzSafe and Logjam
Just wanted to warn you folks about the BlitzSafes being shipped and the
return policy from Logjam Electronics. I ordered a Blitzsafe HON/M-Link1
DMX for a 2nd Gen TL-S for $79. After several weeks of backorder it arrive
and I got it installed at Best Buy for $50. Two weeks later it died. Logjam
sent me an advanced return allowing me to uninstall the defective and
install a replacement at the same time, which I did myself, took an hour and a half, a royal pain.
2 weeks after that was installed it failed too and Logjam won't do an advanced
return this time. They want me to uninstall, put the dashboard back
together, ship the 2ND defective one back, wait for a 3rd one and install
that praying that it will work. There are also NO refunds. Not sure I even
trust the product after this.
I called and talked to a manager named Jim at Logjam and they this was very rare. So I said if it's so rare why don't to try to help by sending another advanced return? Against policy they said. This makes me think that the defective numbers may be high on this current batch. I thinking it's not as rare as I'm told. All are warned!
I thinking about trying the BlitzSafe alternative and try for a refund with Visa's help. What a royal pain!!! What's the alternative called? Ice something? Who can I buy it from besides Logjam? Is the interface and seller reliable? Can't be any worse than this.
