Dealer has had my car for 2 days trying to fix various rattles and squeks. Gave me a dodge stratus rental car that is falling apart!

 

Why would it take more than a day for the fix? I had one rattle in my car and they fixed it while I wait. Took like 15 minutes.

 

I have that headliner rattle that people here have posted about before. I even printed out the solution that someone had posted here and gave it to the service guy. Plus I complained about the 2 dash rattles, the seat rattle, the window rattle, cd changer doesnt work, climate control gets stuck full blast on heat.

When I got my stuff out of my car the entire interior was out of the car, I was really amazed that they were going through such trouble to fix my rattles. I figured they would tell me that they didnt hear any rattles and return the car to me.

 

LOL - dealer just called me, said car wont be reday today and maybe not tomorrow! I have a feeling they have no idea what they are doing but at least they are trying@

 

Sorry to hear this. It is unfortunate that you are a victim of all these problems. It makes it sound like the car that you got was the one that they use to swap out parts from in case there was something wrong with the other ones. Hope everything works out for you.

 

Yeah I cant figure this out. Everyone I know that has a honda/acura product has had nothing but great things to say about build quality and reliability. I didnt even check reliability ratings before buying this car simply because it was an Acura. Hopefully the dealer will come through for me and fix these problems.

 

I had a few small squeaks, but all were fixed quickly and painlessly ... except the rattling sub grille that was "caused by excessive bass" in my music. WTF? This is a stock system, it was rattling at 50% volume, yeah it was Bubba Sparxxx or some sh!t, but I don't remember reading in the brocure that my crap @ss Blose system was only good for classical and jazz music. Oh well, JL Audio is on the way and Blose will be history. I kinda like the in-dash changer tho, oh well the new head unit will play mp3's!
