The wait was well worth it!!!

Wow, the past couple weeks have been excruciatingly long. Time seemed to slow to a mere snail's pace as the momentous day approached. But driving around today in the seat of my brand new TLS today, I realized that it was all worth it. Ohh yeah. This car is soo sweet, I can't put into words how much I love it!!!

Anyways, the guys at Niello Acura in Sacramento were class acts all the way. My salesperson was more than helpful, and he even threw in (free of charge) a metallic-like sunshield and all-weather floor mats. However, upon parking my car in my driveway and giving in another once-over, I noticed a minor surface scratch on the right rear lower bumper area. So on Monday, I take it in to be buffed. But other than that, flawless...

Don't flame me for this but - on the drive home, I felt like Joe Cool, and decided to mess around with the SS. While alternating between SS and auto on the drive home, I once thought I was in SS, (but was actually in full auto) and tried to upshift!!! :o Well of course, it shifted into N and my rpms shot up. I was like "AAHHH" but luckily, it only went up to 6500. I'll never make that mistake again...

So next week I'm getting my audio system installed and my windows tinted - probably from the highly reco'ed Eclipse shop in Sacramento. I'll let you guys know how that goes.

Congrat's on the new ride! I know how it feels, and I know how much it must have burned you to get the RPM's up that high.

And, although all colors are awesome, nice choice on the SSM!!

Congratulations, enjoy the ride (and be careful during break-in).

umm.. how careful again?
Last night I was seemingly intoxicated by the presence of my new car. Unfortunately, I couldnt resist taking it into high rpm range a few times.. (maybe 3 and I think i almost redlined once)... :o

Stupid! I know, I know.. it's bad for the car. But dangit, I just had to do it.. ok ok.. it was more to impress my friends, but still..

Now in the light of morning, I am regretful of last night's actions. Oh well.. for the remaining 525 miles of break in, I promise to take it easy on her.

One of my favorites - just be aware of the break-in period first!!!
