VTEC in 4th Gear?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if VTEC engages in 4th gear because ive been in VTEC range in 4th gear a couple of times and it didn't seem like it engages.

VTEC should engage at 4800rpm no matter what gear you are in (just like the actuator opening at 3800)

How fast would you be going in 4th gear at 4800 rpm?? Dang, I need to get to a track.

You need to be doing about 120 (mph) plus.....
