What year is your TL

My 01 only has TCS

Check owners manual for possible problem
May be transmission related- when lights flash- thats often the real problem

Does any other light flash or stay on?

I have a 2002 TL-S and it has VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) instead of TCS (Traction Control System). When VSA is operating (which it's by default, unless you turn VSA off) then the "triangle !" will illuminate on your gauge cluster. The actual "VSA" light will illuminate upon start-up but should go out during normal driving. If the actual "VSA" light illuminates and stays in the "on-position" during driving for an extended period of time, it could indicate a problem with the vehicle stability assist system. Otherwise, it should only illuminate when VSA is actually in operation.
