I was cruising on the highway tonight on my way home, doing 75-80 in a 65 zone. A couple of square headlights come up behind me pretty quickly. I think "could be that MB E Class that I beat yesterday, or could be a cop - it seems that he is pacing me too", so I get in the right lane and slow down just a bit. It turns out the brick style Volvo S70 and he starts going faster. So I stay in the right lane, shift into 3rd and blast by him in the right lane. Then there is a slow moving truck up ahead in the right lane, so I act like a nice person and do not cut in front of the Volvo guy but rather slow down and let him go. He speeds up like mad but only to slow down at a red light. I pull up behind him. Light turns green, there a a bunch of cars ahead of us in both lanes and they are taking it easy. Finally, our left lane gets clear and he takes off releasing a puff of nasty smelling smoke. I am more than able to keep up with him, actually more like pushing him along. Then he releases anothe nasty smelling puff and keeps on accelerating. I pushed him along in this manner into the triple digits after which I figured I better slow down, having already gotten a few tickets on this road. So I put my signal on, get in the right lane and slow down to 80mph while he keeps going like crazy. Half a mile up the road he turns on his emergency flashers. The stupid thought that he actually won.

hahhaa yeah it's funny that sometimes people think they win but actually we havent' even tried. but that's ok and their logic is reasonable i guess.

there was this time where an es300 pulled on me and thought i was racing with him, whereas i didn't even want to waste my gas. for some seconds he was looking over and gave me a look of "that's it? your car is slow..." and he was gone.

with all confusion i went from d5 to ss, shift to 3rd, caught up with him, look at him, point at myself saying, "you mean me?" and the next thing he saw was my tails...

the turbocharged S70 is wickid fast...i have driven a S70 T5 and it is so fast...but the 4spd auto hurts the accelaration a bit coz the gears are tall
