VISION, NSX4DR, NATE, AcuraTL...question

and others...
i know many of your rides are very slammed... i don't want to jinx anyone but do any of you have a cv problem. i am slammed with the 19in wheels tucked on ground controls. i have gone through my 3 set of cv boots.... and ironically the inners keep tearing. i heard the inner tearing is odd b/c it doesn't stretch as often as the outer... so i was wondering is it from being low?? since you guys are just as low, i wanted to get some info...thanks man

I really have no idea, mine seems fine. The only thing I could think of is because when you lower your car too much, you put more pressure on the constant velocity joints. That's the only explanation I could think of.

Maybe somehow, the boots are getting scraped on something and getting dirt/water in the CV joint. Were the boots cut all 3 times?

Nothing much new here, less than 8 weeks to go and I am going to be a Daddy.

Ripped all three times... sucks ... makes me scared, but i have always had extremely lowered cars, that sucks ... but i thought of how much more some of the others memebers had lowered there cars and they don't got problems, so what gives. augh !!!

My wife has been good, she is actually not driving me crazy.....YET.

I think you have just been unlucky, getting the boots ripped and dirt/water getting in to ruin the CV joints. You might want to raise it back up an inch or so, maybe that would eliminate the problem.

Oh man, that really sucks then. How did you know your CV joints were gone? During routine maintenance?

I hadn't had any problems with my cv boots. Sorry to hear about your problem with your cv boots. I'm not sure what could be the cause of all your cv boot problems. *knocks on wood*
