Video of modded V6 Accord vs modded Civic Si
Well this is my new best time. Although it doesn't seem like it is much faster than my previous record, this run was done with the temp in the 70's while my previous 1/4 mile record was done in 40 degree weather! 30 degrees makes a huge difference in track times!

My friend didn't catch the Civic's time in the video but I checked it on the time slip and he ran a 15.506. This run was the semifinals for the import bracket and even though I beat him, I still lost because I broke out by .016 second. DOH!
Here's some interesting info... I pulled ahead in 1st and 2nd gear against the Civic Si, and had a 1 car length at the 1/8 mile mark, but once my car shifted into 3rd gear, he slowly reeled me in and I watched my lead shrink to about 3 feet when we crossed the finish line.
I asked the guy what mods he had done after our race and he said he had AEM CAI, DC Headers (didn't say if they were 4-1 or 4-2-1), catback exhaust and AEM pulleys.
The last time I went to the track with my headers but before my plugs I was running 15.5's and 15.6's with the weather in the 60's but with a little less than 1/2 a tank of gas. My new best time was with the iridium spark plugs, b/w 1/2 to 1/4 a tank of gas and the weather in the 70's.
Even if you don't believe in dyno's they definitely made a difference at the track!
Here's another video of the civic during the time trials where you can see his time. It looked like he was running on some stock steel rims...
