very interesting......
okay, so a few weeks ago i noticed my horn had stopped working. I ended up taking it to a guy who works specifically on hondas/acuras and he ran through all the wiring to find out the "clock spring reel" or something inside the steering column had to be replaced, which was going to run over 300$$ which i obviously dont have being in college! so yesterday i was on a lil road trip pressed the Cruise Control button, the light turned on, but when i went to set it from the steering wheel button, nothing happened! for some reason the cruise control wouldnt function
... i dono what to do because the audio controls onthe left side of the steering wheel work perfectly... anybody have any ideas?

Try this..
Move the steering to one side or the other, out of the straight ahead position. Then try the horn & radio buttons, also the cruise if you can engage it with the wheel turned without wrecking.
I bet they work fine with the wheel out of dead center. Mine does the same thing. Trouble is, you are almost always going straight ahead when you need to honk at somebody.
There is a fix where you take the wheel off and put little dimples in the contact surface of that clock spring reel thingie so it makes contact (grounds, I guess) in all positions. There is survice bulletin for the repair on here somewhere. I saw where one of the mods had posted it.
It is an Acura TSB, so you would think they would know that it can be fixed that way for less money than part replacement.......
