I believe a well tunned unit like the Apexi S-AFC, or the V-AFC could yield better results, but as far as plug and play, the Venom holds its own.

i had it in my car a year ago, and you could feel a slight difference in response, but overall it is not worth it. go with the apexi v afc if you do a mod like this. as soon as i made my intake ram air, the venom hardly activated since the throttle body valve was open enough during regular driving.

![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Can somebody please direct me toward a website where i can learn more about the Apexi S-AFC or the V-AFC. I have heard about these but I'm not sure what it actually does and how much it costs or even where i can order it. Thanks for help.

I heard the Apexi was designed for the Accord and my local performance shop told me that they installed it on a TypeS. They claimed very minimal gains and that it wasn't worth it right now (till they come out with something better). They could have easily sold me the unit and made money off me but they were being honest (or were they being lazy and didn't want to go through all the trouble installing it)
