Vaseline in door rubber to prevent squeak?

Here in Montreal, when wheater goes below -10 degree celcius, rattles in TL-S seem more audible.

I will try that, but any thoughts?

I've read that before and I suppose it would work.

The only thing that pops up in my mind is the petroleum jelly may attract some unwanted dirt and soil. And this could wind up rubbing on your clothes while getting in and out of the car.

No!!! Buy the Honda silicon spray. As a del Sol Owner with the targa seals that were very picky, silicon worked the best, buy it at honda or Acura

Honda was real clear that the silicon is the only thng that goes on seals. Other substances can break down the rubber, or seal water in destroying it over time

Very true, that silicone that Honda sells seems to be the best solution for his squeaks. Putting lip gloss on it didn't seem too desirable.
