hey all, here are some pix of the unpainted VS spoiler. also included for your enjoyment are demos of the spoiler on the car. it's being painted right now and should be installed on the car by this weekend (hopefully!).

IMO, it's a little big, but it's nice....so you would need to debadge your car in order to have it fit?....be sure to take more pics of it when installed.

it's size is perfect for me! the design of the rear turnk lid panel is slanted a little too forward so this spoiler gives it back some "heft".

although i was already debadged, it looks like you do have to take the model badges off to mount this.

From the back it looks subtle yet noticeable. I didn't notice that it was wide and broad from of the top view shots.

What is it made of? Rubber or polyurethane?

the spoiler is from our very own snook...you can click the aero link at the top for exact pricing, but it was about $650 to get the wing to the states and another $50 for local shipping. took about 5 weeks in all.

it's nice...just big enough! and i much prefer lip spoilers over rear wings.

i believe the wing is made of fiberglass (you can smell it) and then coated (not paint though) with what seems to be a smooth hard plastic finish.

price was a grip (not the fault of tim) but the spoiler came in a week earlier (instead of 6)...so i would rate ACP as being very good!

nope not lowered yet...waiting on the wheels first!

ya...i'm gonna get them rims too...just haven't decided on one yet.

but damn...20 or 21??? will it fit? and what size are the tires??

i'm thinking of getting 18s or 19s

btw...did u have to get the camber kit after u change the rims?

i was there for a couple of hours and i didn't see too many tl's there...questionable, but they do a lot of cars in a day! but i didn't get my wheels yet...those pix are from tuesday. 20s should fit but they are going to be oversized since this wheel and tire combo is going to be bigger than stock. i calculated the stock rolling diameter to be about 25.5" and the smallest tire available currently is 245/35/30 which comes out to be 26.75". i don't think there is a 215 or 225 tire in 35/20s yet.

so what you are looking into? i couldn't find any 19s i liked and i didn't want wheels that everybody had. it just happens to be that dronell made a wheel (BR) that looks exactly like the wheels i love (brabus III) but in 20s.

but yes i would definitely look into getting a camber kit since replacing 20" plus tires will not be cheap!

car looks great Stan, love the color.

Damn those Dronell MU's look sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do a set of those bad boys run?? Do they come in anything less than a 20 inch??.

If you like the Dronell 5's they look exactly like Dazz Matiz rims, and they do come in 19's.

thanks mr hyde...you got great tastes too!

not sure what 21s cost, but a set of 20s will probably be in the 4K to 5K range with tires. i think you could special order a 20" MU wheel.

the sun finally came out so i took more pix!

LOL you went the wrong way, I was thinking more in line of 18's or 19's. No 21's for me
