Value-caraudio.com --- Front H emblem

I have been contacting value-caraudio for about a month now regarding the front Honda H emblem. I have a 2003 TLS and I heard from other members from this site that I needed to purchase 3 parts to change the front Acura (A) emblem to the Honda (H) emblem. I have already completed the rear modification so I am driving around with an Acura emblem in the front and a Honda Inspire emblem in the rear (looks pretty damn funny).

I have been very unlucky trying to obtain the front pieces and value.com has not been replying to my emails. If anyone knows where I can find and purchase these parts please help me. I heard the conversion should cost around 30 to 40 bucks so if any knows where I can purchase this please let me know.

I know a lot of people on this forum has already done this conversion so if you could give me a phone number or a email address of where you've purchased your parts I would greatly appreciate it.

Please help me... my car can no longer be driven around as a half acura half honda... this has been confusing a lot of people and causing unnecessisary conversations with a lot of annoying people...

Please educate me. I still don't understand why people want to change from an Acura to a Honda emblem. If I want a honda, I would've gone with Accord and put mod on it. Also, pay lot less money for the car. Since I paid more for my TL-S, I definitely want to keep my Acura emblem.

I guess it's all personal preference.

p.s. I know that Jap version of TL is called Inspire....

Acura is just a marketing gimmick for people who don't want to pay 30K for a Honda.

I also second the suggestion to go to http://www.aj-racing.com

I agree with GreatSmile. You bought an Acura why change it? I wouldn't buy an IS 300 and rebadge it an Altezza. I have never understood why people change their cars to the Inspire. And Acura isn't a marketing gimmick, it is a different brand, which offers (supposed to offer) higher customer care and more luxury than Honda.

I realize Honda and Acura are the same company, however they are different brands. Gap and Old Navy are the same company as well, but do you see people ripping the tags out of Gap shirts to sew in an Old Navy Tag? And obviously Acura was made for you too, since you are posting on this site and I would assume you own or have owned an Acura.

why not?

and I've seen plenty of Lexus's rebadged to Toyota's. I haven't seen any Infinitis, but then again I don't hang around Infiniti boards.

and I would have gotten my TL-S if it had the Honda badging, and the TL I had before it

"Why not" is not an answer. So why change from an Acura Tl-S to a Honda Inspire?
I have never seen a rebadged Lexus.

You never seen a rebadged Lexus? Wow, I see them here, it's like a mod. And maybe you just have to be into the "complete" modding thing because I was and still am. But I like it, there are atleast two rebadged IS300's/Altezza that are here and they look hot and I live in a pretty small town. I love the rebadging idea. It's just different from the norm. I know had I purchased the IS300 it definitely would have been rebadged with original Japan made Altezza kit and all. It keeps people wondering, it's an eye catcher, it's different because it still sets you apart from the other TL's. It boils down to personal preference. I'm all for it and will be rebadging my ride pretty soon.

Honda Inspire and Acura TL are the same car. the only major difference, is that the honda inspire is right hand drive. theres no need for you to understand why people do it. they do it because it is their car. if thats how they wanna mod it... so be it.

Fair enough, I was just curious about the reasoning behind it.

haha plus even if u dunt rebadge ur car... there are still parts in ur "Acura" dats still says Honda... for example most noticable is the windows.... itz all boils down to personal preferences... also did u know dat in Japan they buy our "Acura" symbols so they can put it on their Inspire.... modding is all about makin ur car look/perform different from the norm.... why else would pple mod?

plus about the Lexus.... unless u live somewhere where domestic owners are the majority.... i dunt think u could have never seen a debadged Lexus... i see alot of Altezzas around....

pple may say dat debadging is a stupid thing to do.. cauz ur sort of devalueing ur car.... and also the argument dat if I wanted a honda i would of bought a honda not an Acura... but u need to understand dat Honda = Acura.... if any of u have been out of America, u noticed dat Acura, Lexus, Infinity don't exist in any other part of the world.... this is because North America has some sort of dumb rules dat states dat each car maker is only allowed a certain amount of models for each car company.... and because car makers like Honda, TOyota, Nissan all have a sh$t load of models therefore they had to create subcompanies such as Acura and Lexus to sell their other models... (I think this doesn't apply to GM)

they mite as well make these companies sell the more expensive models~

juss like Old Navy and Gap... Old Navy sells the cheap stuff... while Gap is a bit more high end.....same theory.... not hard to understand

that's the thing with JDM conversions...you either get it or you don't.

the jap TL's also the "Honda" Inspire/Saber...

If I bought an IS300, I would've rebadged it Toyota Altezza...

If I got a G35 coupe, I DEFINITELY would rebadge it to "Nissan Skyline 300GT"...

So that this rebadging issue is done with now... can you guys help me with another issue... I amdefinately going to get springs but the question is... I live in New York and I was thinking that H&R OE Springs would be the best for me, however the H&R Sports Sprins apeal to me more. I prefer the Sports Spring drop look better but I figure OE would b a better choice due to the bad roads in NYC.

What do u guys suggest, OE or Sports? Pictures anyone?

dtxxx80,
I live in NYC too and have the H&R sports drop. I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the drop and I drive through some bad roads in the Bronx and through the city. Just gotta use common sense when you see dips and potholes coming up in the road. Also watch those cement stoppers in the parking lots. Other than that, the ride is a little rougher as to be expected.

How low you want your car is really your preference. I have no problems with the Sports drop and I love the way the car looks. Some people may not be able to drop the car as low due to inclined / declined driveways, etc., so it really depends on you, but the OE springs don't really drop the car that much in my opinion.

Emblem Switch

Frankly, I find this desire to change emblems quite funny. I just bought a JDM Inspire (1999) and I was thinking about buying an Acura badge to go on the front grille. Why would you want your Acura to be mistaken for a Honda?
The ironic thing is that where I am (Cayman Islands) there are many more JDM Inspires than USDM Acuras on the road.
I guess the 'grass is always greener'
