Its true. You can find the new VAFCs for that price now. The first versions run about $300-$400 retail but ebay always has the best prices. Just make sure you get all the components with the module. By the way, the 2nd version VAFC comes with a mounting bracket whereas the 1st version, the mounting bracket was extra. So dont let them screw you over on that one. Have fun with it if your going to buy it.

 

is it the one w/ the round toggle control (new version) or the 4 button one? (old) if it's the new one, that's a great price and sounds to good to be true! old version was selling for $275 a few months ago, can't believe the price has dropped that much so soon! do a search? or go to moda.com and compare, they carry both.

 

Thanks Kman156, it is the old one with the four buttons. After reading on he charges $15 for shipping +$5 for insurance so it's not really a steal. He has a ton so I'll continue to shop around.
