Question Using sequential shift

Hi all-

Dummy question I know but...
Can someone please explain using sequential manual shift for me.
From starting, driving in the city and on the highway.
And best of all - when to use it?

Thanx

Have you ever driven a manual? If you have, then the SS should be no mystery to you...

Use SS when you want to control which gear is selected. Most people use SS only when passing (to downshift) or taking corners to anticipate the exit gear. Others, like myself, grew up on manual shifters and like the control most of the time. I drive in SS mode about 80% of the time.

If you're not familiar with stick shifters, it would help to take a ride with a friend who has a stick shift and ask him to explain to you how he selects gears until you get a good feel of the shifting rhythm.
