UR pulleys give us 12 HP at the wheels...
So I just ordered the crank pulley only! Their web page was great and since I've gotten used to my H/I/E and am always looking for more power I ordered their pulley. They explained that almost all of the power gain comes from the lightened crank pulley and NOT from underdriving. So the ALT. and PS pulleys are available and look great if you want them but add little power. Their dyno of a Type - S ( TL-P dyno not available) gave 13.5 hp at the wheels, which tells me a TL-P should get 11.7 hp. I say this since we have 225 hp instead of 260, the gains are I would think are proportional. Their test was all three pulleys, so to be decent about it I'll use 10 hp as my gain since I'm getting just the crank pulley. This saves money too, $240 shipped verses almost $400 for all three. So here is my latest list of power adders, all my best guesses from the boards. I have a 2000 TL-P.
Stock: 225
Headers: 16
AEM CAI: 8
Pulley: 10
Total: 259
I'm also running a low temp thermostat and fan switch, but am unsure of any power retained from that.

spyder5786 is right...you can't just add up numbers like that. Also there is no proof that the crank pulley is safe. No one has ran them long enough to know what long term damage to the engine.

Also, you aren't getting 225 hp stock to the wheels... that number is at the crank... you're getting anywhere from 180 - 190 stock to the wheels... someone correct me on that figure if I'm wrong

I know on my old 00 eclipse GT all it did would throw The dreaded SES light and actually didnt give much power on that application like 2hp at the wheels. Good luck though just guessing your probably all together at 210-215 at the wheels judging from you estimates. Good luck and happy modding!!

This is the way I look at it. I have run them for over 6 months also. No noticable bad side effects. If my engine did blow up because of them before the warranty was up, (doubtful) I would put the stock ones back. I really dont see how the OEM one is a better design after looking at them closely. The only thing is the OEM one probably spins easier once it gets going because of its greater mass but to get it to spin must require a lot more power. Im happy with them but to each his own.
