Maybe some of ya know this but there was a set of UR pullies for sale on eBay with no reserve. I believe the seller was USPartsOutlet? or something close. Well the bid was at around 140bux and I bidded at the last 30sec for 180bux and lost... wondering if it was somebody on the forum that got it lol

Acurazine vendors pay to make this site happen for us- and they hook us up with the deals!

for tech info- dyno charts and more see www.unorthodoxracing.com

Our cars do not need the accessory pullies, just the crank pulley

If you read the website you find the 3 pulley system not needed for our cars
Crank Pulley alone works fine.
Isnt this crying over spilt milk?

maybe ppl misunderstood me...I wasn't complaining at all about the lost auction or the price. I was just wondering if someone on this forum won the pulley set that was all...

How much was the winning bid?

If you read the website for UR and the post by our vendor Excellerate you will understand why our cars are best with just the crank pulley underdrive

Learn about proxy bidding- someone else did, thats how they beat you

The wrong setup for your car has no value whatsoever

I will let you guys in on a little industry info. Some companies, like UR, are cracking down on these "black market" sales. UR and others are getting technology together to prevent unauthorized dealers from distributing their product. What they are going to do is start tracking their parts sold and for how much and through whom. What you will find is that if you do not buy from an authorized dealer you will not get any warranty or customer service from UR. There is more to it but that is the gist of it.

i have all three pulleys, mainly because i got them pretty cheap, but it's partially for looks too. Lay off man, it's his money he can get the parts he wants. If he had won the auction, he would still have paid less than buying from an authorized dealer. More bling in the engine bay is a good thing.

See above post by authorized vendor of UR parts-- Excellerate
There is an important point being made

Just because its cheap means nothing if no factory support behind it

And all I did was suggest learning ebay bidding secrets if he really wants to win.
Why should I lay off telling people to educate themselves?

the reason why i don't really care about the warranty is because i've never heard of a case where a UR pulley has failed. Show me a thread where someone has used their warranty to get a replacement pulley due to it failing? If it does fail, the replacement would be the least of your worries since your engine would be toast. Whenever i see the cheapest price possible for a quality part, i jump on it.
I wasn't debating the ebay bidding secrets so i'm not trying to argue that.

Each of us is free to buy whatever parts we like and try various experiments with engine mods, suspension changes and performance wheel alignments.

I prefer factual test data to butt dyno and bling factor-
but thats just me, I'm into stealthy brake rotors too.

This next part is not meant against any place or seller- its informational only

When I see something for really cheap these days- I am wary of the authenticity of the item

The number of FAKE products that come into this country or are produced in this country everyday is staggering.
Go to the tourist area of any major city and look at the knock-off shops with "designer" named handbags and RULEX watches
If you can buy it here, a copy is also being made in China with possibly inferior materials
and unknown labor quality.

As Always - Buyer Beware! Know exactly what you are buying

Support our acurazine vendors- without them- this board would not exist for us to discuss all these things and learn from each other!
