I have an '00 TL-P. I have seen many other 2G TLs with a factory bluetooth option. ('02-04?) Is there a way to purchase this OEM kit? Is it an obnoxious install? I just got a new bluetooth phone, itd be fun to take advantage of this feature

 

i don't think there was a factory bluetooth option for the 99-03's. bluetooth was offered in 04 (3rd gen)

 

I could have sworn my friend's cousin's car had bluetooth, maybe I just lied to myself or it was an aftermarket thing?

 

either he had a 3rd gen, or it was aftermarket

i dont think anyone even knew about bluetooth around 2000.

 

i knew about bluetooth. but you can get an AM headunit with a bluetooth option

There was no bluetooth option in the 99-03 TL, it was strictly something in the 3rd gen. There are aftermarket bluetooth setups but none will integrate like the oem setup in the 3rd gen
