I picked up my 2002 White Diamond Pearl today. I upgraded from a 1999 Lexus ES-300. I do not like the body style of the new Lexus ES-300. This is my first Acura. I enjoyed reading all the posts about the TL-S before my purchase.

 

Let me be the first to welcome u to our wonderful forum...and also enjoy your car...the ride is not as comfortable or as quiet as the ES300 but I think you'll live

 

Welcome! Good color choice too! You didn't say what color your interior was, though. Yeah, I don't like the new body style of the ES-300 either... wonder why they messed it up like that?

Well, I know you'll enjoy your TL-S -- I definitely am! Any mods planned for your new baby?

I don't know how many mods you'll consider as I am sure you had none on the ES

 

Yeah, thse are both different cars. Sometimes I like the comfortable drive in the Lexus, then there are days where I want to have power and handling. I washed both cars today and took a pic of em. Good luck w/your new car!

 

I think the new IS-300 look horrible it looks like an old persons car... just like it's sister the Camary

It's a world of difference in ride charateristic between the TL-S and the ES-300.
