here is a place that my cousin got his alarm installed:
Autobahn
220 So Main St
W Bridgewater, MA
http://www.classicdesigns.cc/html/retailstore.htm
install cost around $100
I am in the process of looking at alarms for my TLS and here are the ones I have seen
mentioned on this forum are:
Viper 791xv
Compustar 2WSS-AS
Clifford 3.5 Matrix
So I think I might just buy one of them from ebay and get it installed. Oh and if you find any other places or get it done, hit me up with the details. Hope this helps.

you guys have ACURA TL'S not a damn honda civic. Get a viper alarm system that is more reliable then cheap PRESTIGE or these other fly by alarm companies. I have the VIPER RESPONDER 791xv with the VIPER GPS TRACKING system. This one has remote start and all the bells and wistles!(window roll up and down)

OF coarse they are going to say that viper sucks man they want your business. Trust me I have had some cheap alarms and viper has the best warranty, durability and the range on the VIPER RSPONDER is 1200 feet

does the viper 791xv come with all the bells and whistles or are those extra things that you need to purchase....example I would like sensors on my hood near my headlights. And the GPS tracking system how much or is that? I am thinking about just purchasing this system on ebay is that a good idea or not? Sorry REDLINEN if I am stealing the spot light a bit...just kinda curious. :-)

The window roll ups and down, auto requires additional parts, the gps tracking is another additional feature. the 1200 feet is without interference and without code hopping... overall i say that the viper is 791xv is decent... who knows about durability unless they had it for a long time but they do make it easy to add these nice features.
i had a prestige something or another and it worked fine, it is hard to say if it was a peice of crap. i would bang on the car and it would set it off. same for the viper 791xv or even the clifford 3.5 rsx, they do its job. maybe i just dont know how to tell if an alarm is good or not

they told me most ppl that buy the viper bring it back....everytime the battery dies or something like that goes wrong the code has to be re-entered, and other pain in the a$$ things like that

I have the Clifford RS 3.5 w/ auto-start. Alarm works great. But I didn't add shock sensors and prox because I simply don't need those (but you can always add-in those whenever you want). I got mine with auto-up windows, mind you that each module only controls 2 windows, so you need 2 to do all 4 windows. I paid over $1000 but its all worth it. Just remember the alarm is as good as the installer installs it. Personally I dont know much about wiring in my car, but from what I can see (well don't see) is that the wires dont show anywhere, i see no wires falling out of some crack... etc.

Never had those problems with the Viper when the battery dies. The viper is probably way over priced if you just want a regular alarm. If you want somethign that can do windows roll up on arm, vent, roll completely down, one-touch windows from all the doors and some other modules it would be good to have the DEI alarms which are just pretty much plug and play.
