needing to find out if there is a better deal avl. for the updated navigational dvd. dealer says they want $258. seems a little steep to me. any ideas from anyone?

 

ya dont get it it is just going to be a map up date and that means more streets, more "places" and that = SLOWER navi

$258 is a much higher price than buying it direct. Or - maybe your dealership has a highly trained navi technician with a special DVD friendly satin and gold lined mitt used to insert the new DVD into the unit!?! Oh - and don't forget the free car wash you'll get! It might be worth the extra money to have all of that expertise on hand in case the DVD doesn't go in correctly... /smirk /sarcasm off

 

i got it, and it was TOTALLY worth the 185 for the updates in my area alone...

 

its very much worth it and the speed is about the same.
