Update on my Suspension Rattle; which turns out was my fault

I took my car to Park Ave on Wednesday night and they initially thought it was a rattle in the dash, which at times I thought it could be also. So They took the entire passenger side apart and put it back together again which didnt solve the problem!!!

Then they discovered that my strut up front was bent!!!! Turns out that a few days before noticing the noise I hit an unmarked hole in the street left by contruction workers. It was a big impact, but I had hit much worse in my last car which ended up with bubbles in tires and in one case a bent 17 inch rim. (I still love NYC!!!!) This time I drove home and inspected the tire and it was fine. So I assumed nothing was wrong until I heard the noise, but I thought it was something much more benign like the spring had shifted a little in the perch or that something was knocked loose, or had coincidentally just worked itself loose.

Bottom line Park Ave Acura is currently taking care of the problem, Jens the man himself, so I am a very happy camper. My car is not defective, and it wasnt the cars fault, and PAA is giving me their board renowned first class treatment. These guys truley do kick A$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking about it, even though my car is not in my garage I am not worried one single bit, unlike when my car was having the alarm installed, or having its bumper repainted. I am totally at ease with my car being at and being worked on by PAA. And coming from me thats a MAJOR compliment.

Glad to hear things worked out for you.
By the way, is this the problem you were talking about in that missing post? Did you ever find the post?

Must have been a bad day for you when you were looking, or something. I overlook posts sometimes too.

Wish my dealer was that good I am actually a little disappointed, since I almost went with the Audi S4 from a dealer I know to be great, but the extra dough was too hard to swallow and the A4 was too slow, guess I should have tried harder. But I'm glad that you are being well taken care of.
