Update on Clicking Noise
well another assumption ruled out
as i have posted before that i have a clicking noise coming from the front everytime the car is in gear while reving in park its fine so i decided to get my car checked out at Merlins since they were willing to give me a free estimate.
they told me that the gasket between the exhaust and engine manifold seems to be fine. They put a big screw driver to the engine instead and made me listen to the noise from the plastic end and basically told me the noise is coming from the engine and since they do not work on engines told me to go somewhere else instead. I got no warranty on my car and this sounds like it would need quite a bit of money so what do i do??? Maybe adding oil treatment? any brands i should avoid or go for ? Thanks for any Suggestions regarding this.
Here are some of the things that i have tried but to no avail.
Octane Boosters: reduced the noise for the initial first two runs giving added power by reducing lag too. Made my exhaust feel a lil more louder after 2 (25 Mile) drives everything was back to normal except for the exhaust part. overall this wasnt a bad investment.
Highest Octane (93) available has been used since day one.
Fuel Injector Cleaner.
