unusually specific code

I keep pulling a P1457 code. The description is "Unable to pull fuel tank vacuum". That is and incredibly specific description. So the question is should I be checking for holes in the filler neck and tank. Or? I replaced the gas cap a couple months ago.

It was just a vehicle generic video on how the EVAP and fuel system works and how to find common issues. He explained it well and in a straightforward manner IMO.

I don't think your code matches the description.

The gas cap is just one from advanced auto. 01acls the description for p1457 that you posted I have seen before with the same device that pulled the attached code. thelastaspec unfortunately I have not had time to check the piece in the video you posted. A friend has had my tl for two week and when it is at my house im either to lazy or at one of my two side jobs. But I will get to it probably at the same time I build the evap smoker I wanted to for a while. My confusion as the title and first post said was how specific the "generic" description was.

I would trust the service manual more vs the app in case they wrote the description wrong. Fuel tank vacuum is the EVAP canister so I understand from brians video that i posted (the one that explains how they work)
